Thomas shoots in for a takedown but Hammett shows good takedown defense.

Thomas is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hammett pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hammett turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Hammett has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Thomas is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hammett yanks on the arm and Thomas is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hammett.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Vicksone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Takanahana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vicksone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is m.o.v.e - DOGFIGHT. Takanahana has chosen Dillinger Escape Plan - 43% Burnt as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Yoshi Takanahana was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
