The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt leaves Cobblestone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Abruzzi clinches up with Oliveira and pushes him back against the cage.
Oliveira jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Abruzzi walks away with a smile on his face. Oliveira gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Oliveira is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Abruzzi's half guard.

Caliban shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Loomis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caliban looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Caliban stops Loomis from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Caliban working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Loomis wants to stand up but Caliban is controlling him.
Caliban trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Loomis wants to get back to his feet but Caliban is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Loomis throws a right hand that Caliban ducks under and follows up with a left that Caliban also avoids with ease.

Loomis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Caliban manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

This one could be over very soon! Loomis goes limp - he's gone! Caliban jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Blair avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rye Rock closes the distance and clinches up with Blair, looking for a takedown. Rye Rock pushes Blair against the cage but Blair circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
KB Blair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Rye Rock.
Rye Rock jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rye Rock tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The crowd cheers as Blair lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rye Rock doesn't seem phased though.

and Blair counters with a thumping low kick.
Blair throws a right and a left that Rye Rock avoids nicely.

Rye Rock has his takedown stuffed
and Blair counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Rye Rock to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Blair!
