Amossou has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wood is working away from the top position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wood perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Amossou scores with a kick to the body.
Amossou has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wood finds it's way round the side to connect with Amossou's head.

Wood connects with a good right hand that stumbles Amossou. Amossou circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Amossou throws a leg kick but Wood sees it coming and moves out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Masatoshi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Masatoshi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Hall moves into the clinch successfully.

Hall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hall cracks Masatoshi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hall has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Masatoshi to stand back up!

It looks like Oderus Masatoshi has been cut.

Hall rushes Masatoshi with punches - Masatoshi moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Masatoshi goes down! Hall follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
