The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennemore defending well as Azamora loads up on a big left hand.
Azamora throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kennemore.
Kennemore takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Azamora misses with an uppercut. Kennemore saw that one coming.
Joshua Azamora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Azamora.
Azamora connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Azamora cracks Kennemore with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kennemore looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Azamora finish him?

Azamora grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Kennemore takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Azamora cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Takeya Maeda.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Choi Hong Sakuraba.

Severn has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hokkanen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Severn.

Severn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hokkanen's waist but Hokkanen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Severn off to one side.
