The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sanders napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Goes trying to control the action but Sanders is working from the bottom.
Goes looking to control but instead Sanders has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sanders hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Cordoba Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Hyabusa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Couture swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A slow jab from Couture misses its intended target.
Hawk throws a right and a left that Couture avoids nicely.
Couture takes one to the chin there.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Couture has a takedown stuffed.
