Deloy drops back looking for a leg! Spencer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spencer manages to kick Deloy off! Deloy jumps back into Spencer's guard.

Deloy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Deloy trying to control the position from guard on top but Spencer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Deloy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Spencer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Spencer is trying to control the position but Deloy postures up.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Spencer holds on and takes a little breather.
Mason Deloy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Deloy stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Spencer has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Deloy manages to get his head free but now Spencer has transitioned to an armbar! Deloy grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Spencer! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Whittaker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Whittaker has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Whittaker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Whittaker off to one side.

A jab-cross combination lands for Jones and sends Whittaker crashing to the mat! Jones follows him down to the mat - Whittaker regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like James Whittaker has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Whittaker is hurt! He's hurt bad - Jones fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Whittaker from any more punishment! Congratulations to Jones! Great finish!
