The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bluff throws a series of punches but Luna moves out of range.

Luna is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
bluff fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Luna clinches.
Luna tries for a takedown but bluff manages to get underhooks.

Luna breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
bluff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Luna moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
bluff lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Luna backs up against the ropes.

Escuela is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Disco Inferno- 50 Cent . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Escuela jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as James walks away with a smile on his face. Escuela gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Escuela shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. James manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

James wants to stand but Escuela is controlling the position.
Escuela passes James's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
James tries to kick Escuela off but Escuela keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Escuela has hold of James's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and James manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Escuela pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
