Bijanek looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Escudero takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bijanek looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Yuri Bijanek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escudero stuffs the takedown attempt from Bijanek. Bijanek gets slowly back to his feet.
Escudero jabs Bijanek right on the nose. Bijanek blinks but takes it well.

Escudero throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Bijanek stumbling backwards into the cage! Bijanek bounces back off the cage towards Escudero, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Escudero lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Escudero celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Bryan looks to land a left hand but Echo moved out of range nicely.

Bryan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bryan lands in his opponent's guard.

Bryan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Echo controls Bryan momentarily but Bryan frees himself.
Bryan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
I looks like Bryan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Bryan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Echo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bryan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Echo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bryan should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Echo has tightened it up now! Bryan should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
