The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duke dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Duke shoots in for a double leg but Slice sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Duke is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Slice throws a push kick but Duke slaps the foot to one side.

Duke clinches up against the cage.

Duke pulls guard.

Duke scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Slice with a jab.
Slice misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Duke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mortimer Duke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slice jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duke walks away with a smile on his face. Slice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fight stays on the outside here - Duke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
