I think Event might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eazy E - Real M***** F****** G's. Roc has chosen Hey Man, Nice Shot as his entrance music. Jay Roc will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Miles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Grasshopper wants to control but Santos is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Santos wants to work for an arm triangle but Grasshopper is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Grasshopper counters with a shoot takedown. Santos fights it but they end up in guard.

Grasshopper is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Santos is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Santos has escaped and now he's on top!

Grasshopper cracks Santos with a big right hand but Santos just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Grasshopper just content to control the position.
Grasshopper has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Little Grasshopper just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Grasshopper looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
John Santos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Santos strikes from the bottom but Grasshopper passes into mount!

Little Grasshopper showed his dominance in that final round.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webb lands the left hand.
D takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Webb throws a lazy right hand but D sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Webb throws a looping overhand right but D ducks down to avoid it.
Webb lands with a hook. D tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Webb lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A solid leg kick lands there for Webb.
Webb scores with a shot to the body.
Webb is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
D blocks a head kick by Webb.
Nice sprawl there from Webb as D shoots in.
D shoots in for a double leg but Webb sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Webb throws a sloppy head kick and D moves out of range easily.
Webb scores with a body shot.
A slow jab from D misses its intended target.
Webb lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Webb.

D is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Webb walks forward and throws a big overhand right! D drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Webb swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from D's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
