The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well.

It looks like Ron Fuller has been cut.
Slice shoots in looking for a takedown. Fuller tries to sprawl out of it but Slice keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Fuller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tepes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Walker is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tepes off and has taken his back!
Tepes just trying to survive but Walker is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Tepes is in bad spot here.
Tepes manages to reverse the position and now he's in Walker's guard. Nice work there by Tepes.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Walker is on top in guard.
Tepes is looking to stand back up but Walker counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Tepes.
Tepes wants to improve his position but Walker is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walker thows a huge punch but Tepes dodges it nicely.
Walker tries to stand but can't do so whilst Tepes controls his leg.
Tepes pushes Walker off looking to stand but Walker dives back in and keeps control.
Tepes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tepes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tepes is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Walker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Walker scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Walker connects with a jab.
Tepes takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tepes dodges the punch combination from Walker.
Tepes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walker avoids it really well and circles away.
Stevie Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tepes looks gassed!
Walker lands a two punch combo.
Tepes looks for a takedown but Walker sprawls well.
Tepes shoots in but no luck this time.
Stevie Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Tepes.
Tepes takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Walker closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Walker clobbers Tepes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walker connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Tepes! He's out on his feet! Walker rushes in and drops Tepes with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Carlson's head.

It looks like Chester Carlson has been cut.
Silva tries to clinch up but Carlson circles away and keeps his distance.
Carlson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carlson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Carlson.
Carlson misses with a body shot.
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carlson looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Carlson throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.
Carlson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Silva has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Carlson is trying to keep an underhook but Silva manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva is keen to just control but Carlson is a slippery customer.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Carlson is staying active underneath Silva, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Carlson looks like he's trying to stand up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carlson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Carlson there as he acknowledges the shot.

That has opened up Chester Carlson's cut even more.

Silva throws an overhand right that lands on Carlson's shoulder, as Carlson tries to avoid the shot.
Carlson looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Carlson throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva misses with an uppercut. Carlson saw that one coming.

Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Carlson has wrist control.
Carlson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Silva manages to pass to side control.
Silva lands strikes from half guard.

Silva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Silva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Carlson!

Chester Carlson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chester Carlson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
