Corbeil closes the distance and clinches.

Corbeil manages to break the clinch.
Sherm closes the distance and clinches up with Corbeil, looking for a takedown. Sherm pushes Corbeil against the cage but Corbeil circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Corbeil lands with a straight right. Sherm didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Frank Sherm has been cut.

Corbeil lands a big uppercut and Sherm crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sherm looks OK. Corbeil waves Sherm back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sherm will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Elliot Corbeil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corbeil moves into range and connects with a jab.
Corbeil cracks Sherm with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sherm tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Corbeil pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sherm is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
