The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fei Hung misses the jab.
Hussein shoots in but no luck this time.
Fei Hung throws a series of punches but Hussein moves out of range.
Fei Hung tries a head kick but it misses.

Hussein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hussein drops back looking for a leg! Fei Hung is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fei Hung manages to kick Hussein off! Hussein jumps back into Fei Hung's guard.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zimmerman.

Ryoko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zimmerman's guard.

Zimmerman wants to sweep here but Ryoko controlling him for the moment.

Ryoko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ryoko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Zimmerman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ryoko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Zimmerman is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ryoko throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zimmerman's body to avoid the submission. Zimmerman has instead reached around Ryoko's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zimmerman arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
