Cantero avoids the head kick by Plata.

Muay Plata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cantero throws a right and a left that Plata avoids nicely.
Plata stuffs the takedown attempt from Cantero. Cantero gets slowly back to his feet.

Tamura lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tamura cracks Grapple with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tamura has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Grapple to stand back up!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Retso wants to sweep here but Allen controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Retso loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Allen scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Retso land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Retso stands and salutes the crowd.
