Black kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Elton John - Rocket Man. De Vries is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: EXODUS - Throwing Down. Henk De Vries will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black misses with a jab, cross combination.
De Vries will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Black just misses with a punch to the body.
Black comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Black dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
De Vries feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Black's calf.
De Vries tries a low kick but Black avoids it.
Black slips a jab and a cross from De Vries.
Black throws a combination that misses
and De Vries counters with a low kick, right behind Black 's knee.
A kick lands to the mid section there for De Vries.
Black throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Henk De Vries has been cut.
Black connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
De Vries is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Vries steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Black.
De Vries is still on wobbly legs! Can Black finish him?
Black misses with a looping right.
De Vries seems to have recovered his senses.
De Vries lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
De Vries throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
De Vries dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on De Vries's head and hops out.
De Vries tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Black was well out of range. Poor timing from De Vries.
De Vries throws a left and a right that both miss
and Black cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
De Vries walks into a jab.
Black lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
De Vries looks gassed!
De Vries is looking to chop away at Black's legs.
Black misses with a two punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Black scores with a shot to the body.
De Vries misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Some wild striking there from Black.
Black throws a good cross that connects.
De Vries looks to land a right hand but Black moved out of range.
Black connects with a stiff jab that staggers De Vries - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Allen looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Retso wants to sweep here but Allen controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Retso trying to control the position.
Retso tries to strike from the bottom.
Retso manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Retso lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
It looks like Jake Allen has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Allen is desperately trying to improve his position but Retso has a good base and remains in mount.
Allen tries to hold on but Retso postures up.
Retso lands a nice shot to the head.
Jake Allen's cut is getting worse.
Allen wants to hold on but Retso pushes him away.
Retso loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Allen scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Retso land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Retso stands and salutes the crowd.
