Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hammi sprawls well. Hammi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Kirby tries to clinch up but Dude circles away and keeps his distance.
Dude closes the distance and clinches up with Kirby, looking for a takedown. Dude pushes Kirby against the cage but Kirby circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kirby moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Dude turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dude manages to end up in side control.

Deveraux uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kegslam.

Deveraux changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kegslam tries to avoid it but Deveraux manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kegslam to the ground. Kegslam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Deveraux. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kegslam throws a leg kick which misses Deveraux's front leg but catches the back leg as Deveraux tries to avoid it.
Kegslam smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kegslam stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kegslam is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Deveraux had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Kegslam throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kegslam, as that shot connected.
Kegslam lands a left and a right that send Deveraux crashing to the mat, dazed. Kegslam thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Deveraux stumbles backwards against the cage. Kegslam steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Deveraux's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Deveraux just didn't come prepared.
