Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miklo Velka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanner Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Velka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Saliva - Ladies & Gentlemen. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinclair changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Velka tries to avoid it but Sinclair manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Velka to the ground. Velka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sinclair seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Velka shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Sinclair is backing up but Velka catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Sinclair covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Velka Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Request comes to the cage accompanied by Dont Tell Me What to Play. Rogers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. American Badass by Kid Rock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Steve Rogers told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws the left hand but Request avoids the punch easily.
A jab from Request finds it's way through Rogers's defenses.
Rogers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Request finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rogers walks into a stiff left hand from Request.
Request fails to land with a series of punches.
Rogers tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Request lands a jab to Rogers's midsection.
Rogers looks for the body kick but Request saw that one coming.
Request lands with an uppercut that bounces Rogers off the cage and back into rage.
Good shot there by Request.
Nice straight punches there by Request. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Request.
Rogers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Request to score with a decent uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Request throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rogers.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rogers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rogers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that DeeJay Request will probably get the nod.

Well Rogers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
