Tarbois looks to land a right hand but Black moved out of range.

Tarbois drives through and clinches with Black against the ropes.
Tarbois has had enough of the clinch but Black keeps him there for the moment.

Black pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tarbois tries to clinch up but Black circles away and keeps his distance.
Tarbois throws a head kick that misses.
Tarbois misses with a series of wild punches.
Tarbois waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Black.

Tarbois rushes Black and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Tarbois wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Tarbois breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tarbois has closed the distance and engaged Black in a clinch.

Tarbois escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tarbois looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tarbois rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tarbois's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Tarbois duly obliges.

Kris Tarbois seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Black dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tarbois. That did some damage!

Black feints and then cracks Tarbois's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tarbois down.

Black fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tarbois.
Black lands with a nice combination. Tarbois backs away looking to recover.
Black throws a sloppy head kick and Tarbois moves out of range easily.

and Black counters with a head kick that wobbles Tarbois - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Black sends him down. This one is all over!

Carmelon tries to pull guard but Pierre holds him up against the ropes and eventually Carmelon drops back down to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fausto Carmelon will probably get the nod.

Well Pierre has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fransson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Madison regains guard immediately.
