Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Labont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Belisle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Labont might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bad Religion's Walk Away. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labont sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Belisle fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Labont.
Labont really is a fat lump.
Belisle finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Belisle.

Belisle darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Belisle wants to control but Labont is keeping him busy.
Belisle is nestled in close to Labont, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Labont postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Belisle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Labont, into his guard.
