A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Messinger throws and elbow that misses. Mang uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Messinger's guard. Nice move by Mang!

Ferguson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rodriguez's waist but Rodriguez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ferguson off to one side.

Horrible takedown by Ferguson or perhaps it was just good defense by Rodriguez which made him look bad.

Rodriguez clinches up with Ferguson and pushes him back against the cage.
Rodriguez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Rodriguez presses Ferguson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Ferguson is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rodriguez lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ferguson backwards.
Rodriguez has Ferguson pressed against the cage.
Rodriguez gets through Ferguson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Rodriguez lands a hook that stumbles Ferguson back into the cage. Rodriguez follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Ferguson to the canvas! Rodriguez pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Ferguson has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
