Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Lewandowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Haigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewandowski comes to the cage accompanied by Bezimienni - Walka. Dan Haigh told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haigh is looking to land body kicks.
Lewandowski shoots in looking for a takedown. Haigh tries to sprawl out of it but Lewandowski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Haigh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Haigh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Haigh showed some decent athleticism there.

Lewandowski is trying to escape back to his feet but Haigh uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Well Haigh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Gilmore has cracked Watson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Gilmore lands another huge swinging hook and Watson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Watson, before Gilmore can land any more shots!
