These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Taai Taai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boogie Woogie!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woogie lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Taai Taai has been cut.

Woogie clinches.
Woogie gets through Taai's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Taai breaks from the clinch.

Taai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Woogie, pushing him back against the ropes.
Woogie digs a right hand into Taai's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Taai's gas tank.
Woogie wants to break the clinch but can't.
Taai tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Woogie avoids it.
Woogie working aggressively here.
Taai lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Woogie blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Woogie throws a head punch that misses.
Woogie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Taai has him pressed against the ropes.

Taai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Woogie clinches up with Taai and pushes him back against the ropes.
Taai scores with a knee to the head.

Woogie has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Taai tries a knee to the head but Woogie blocks it.

Taai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Woogie is one step ahead there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Taai is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Taai thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Taai has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Taai works his way into side control.

Woogie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Woogie takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Taai scores with a couple of short elbows.
Woogie looks gassed!
A big shot lands for Taai! That's hurt Woogie! Will he recover? Taai fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
