The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casic looks for the body kick but Kent saw that one coming.
Casic keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Casic lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

and Casic counters by moving into the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Casic.
Kent has had enough of the clinch but Casic keeps him there for the moment.

Casic prevents the takedown attempt.
Casic keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kent's efforts to push away.

McTavish misses the shot to the body.
Preston has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McTavish finds it's way round the side to connect with Preston's head.

and McTavish counters with a nice low kick that buckles Preston's knee momentarily.
McTavish throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

McTavish throws a hook but Preston blocks it.

Preston avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McTavish, as that shot connected.

McTavish looks to land a left hand but Preston moved out of range nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McTavish fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Preston looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Azevedo is fighting to break Heart's control of his arms but Heart is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Azevedo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Azevedo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Azevedo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Heart drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Heart seems to have locked his on tight now - Azevedo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Heart, as he picks up the win!

Darko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chuva's guard.

Darko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chuva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Chuva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
