The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Yam lands a right hook to the body.
Yam lands a nice looking body shot.
Yam tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rutten was well out of range. Poor timing from Yam.
Yam jabs Rutten to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Yam throws a body punch but Rutten moves out of range.
Yam is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rutten rather than just go for the knockout.

Rutten darts in and clinches Yam up against the cage.

Rutten's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rutten rushes Yam and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rutten has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Yam clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Rutten seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
