A momentary lapse in concentration from Thompson enables Valadez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Thompson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Thompson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Valadez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Reed has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Reed is squeezing on Jackson like an anaconda would it's prey. Jackson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
