With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenny Kline!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Kline misses
and Ross connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Kenny Kline has been cut.
Kline takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kline throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ross's waist but Ross gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kline off to one side.
Ross shoots for a takedown but Kline saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ross lands a nice looking body shot.
Kline moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kline on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

That has opened up Kenny Kline's cut even more.

Ross cracks Kline with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kline looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ross finish him?

Kline is rocked!

The cut above Kenny Kline's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kline looks gassed!
Kline motions for Ross to come forward. Kline throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ross uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kline.
Kline shoots in looking for a takedown. Ross tries to sprawl out of it but Kline keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ross manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ross thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ross pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ross tries to clinch but Kline is having none of it.
Ross misses with a lunging right hand
and Kline counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Kline staying out of range there.
Kline has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ross.
Ross dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kline. That did some damage!
Ross jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kline has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ross finds it's way round the side to connect with Kline's head.

Kenny Kline's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kenny Kline's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ricky Ross!
