Heister fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Heister is defended easily by Jackson.
Horrible takedown by Heister or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.

Burns throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Quack colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Burns as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Quack is left battered and dazed whilst Burns and his camp cheer!

Sato uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sato connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Vasquez shoots and misses
and Sato counters with a leg kick.

Vasquez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sato sneaks back into half guard.
Vasquez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sato keeps working.
Sato works his way to full guard. Good work.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Vasquez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Sato looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Vasquez has picked Sato up and slammed him! Sato can't keep hold of the triangle and Vasquez manages to pass to side control!
Sato is looking to regain half guard here but Vasquez keeps moving and retains side control.
Vasquez looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sato is avoiding damage well.

Vasquez swings around for an armbar but Sato sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vasquez's guard.

Sato drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sato seems to have locked his on tight now - Vasquez screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sato, as he picks up the win!
