Cornish throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sai Yuk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bertha counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bertha throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bertha. Sai Yuk shrugs it off though.
Sai Yuk rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sai Yuk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sai Yuk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bertha counters with a good low kick that Sai Yuk was not able to check.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sai Yuk. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Bertha's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sai Yuk under the eye.
Big Bertha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bertha lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bertha lands a right hook to the body.
Fong Sai Yuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bertha lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bertha lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sai Yuk's sensitive parts.
