A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bulle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Boombata seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bulle for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mufasa Boombata just wasn't active enough.

Boombata's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Mufasa Boombata wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Boombata stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bulle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boombata slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boombata has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well Higastsui has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
