Shkutov tries for a takedown but Petrovsky circles away easily
and Petrovsky counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Shkutov is rocked!

Petrovsky lands a huge takedown. Shkutov is out but the ref is slow to react and Petrovsky lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Shkutov lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Norris and Romero are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Norris throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Romero into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Norris knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Lebedev has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Silva lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lebedev backwards.
Silva is trying to break the clinch but Lebedev has him pressed against the ropes.
Silva has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

and Silva counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Lebedev off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Silva follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Lebedev was out before he hit the floor.

The fight stays on the outside here - Yazerman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yazerman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tiirismaa tries to avoid it but Yazerman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tiirismaa to the ground. Tiirismaa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tiirismaa shoots in but no luck this time.

That was a close second round but I would say that Edward Yazerman will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Edward Yazerman.

Bobichus breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Douglas.
Emelianenko shoots for a takedown but Douglas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Douglas darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Douglas lands with an uppercut that bounces Emelianenko off the ropes and back into rage.

Douglas drops Emelianenko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Emelianenko looks back up at him and smiles so Douglas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Douglas circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Emelianenko to the canvas! Emelianenko doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Douglas keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
