The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gotch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Gotch controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Smythe keeping moving, preventing Gotch from controlling successfully.
Gotch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smythe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gotch sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smythe's guard.
Gotch seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Gotch could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gotch is looking to advance position but Smythe won't allow it.

Gotch is looking to take a break and control but Smythe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gotch is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smythe defends it well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nack takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rosebush swings widly with a right hand
and Nack counters with a stiff right hand.
Nack shoots for a takedown but Rosebush saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rosebush scores with a nice body kick.
Rosebush tries to close the distance and clinch but Nack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nack blocks a jab.
Rosebush tries a low kick but Nack avoids it.
Rosebush pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nack back to the cage. Rosebush follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Nick Nack has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rosebush throws a push kick but Nack slaps the foot to one side.
Nack shoots for a takedown but Rosebush saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rosebush misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rosebush throws a low kick but Nack moves out of range easily.
Rosebush wants to clinch up but Nack keeps it at a distance.

Nack has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rosebush should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nack has tightened it up now! Rosebush should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Cleaver feints and as Yen raises his hands in defense, Cleaver changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cleaver won't allow Yen to get back to his feet.
Cleaver slips nicely into half guard.
Cleaver thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yen's head.

Cleaver is trying to work for a kimura but Yen is defending well.
Cleaver works his way into full mount!
Cleaver throwing strikes here but Yen is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Cleaver sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanchez throws a leg kick but Larsson checks it.
Larsson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sanchez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Larsson wants to slow Sanchez down by chopping away at his legs.
Larsson dodges the punch combination from Sanchez.
Sanchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Larsson tries to avoid it but Sanchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Larsson to the ground. Larsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Larsson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sanchez is out of range and Larsson settles back down.
Larsson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sanchez takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Larsson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Larsson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Sanchez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Larsson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sanchez.

Larsson throws a nice looking combination but Sanchez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sanchez misses with a few strikes there.

and Larsson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sanchez lands a right hook to the body.
Sanchez throws a series of punches but Larsson avoids them all with ease.
Sanchez looks to score with a jab to the body but Larsson is just out of range.
Larsson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sanchez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Larsson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Sanchez counters with a straight right hand.
