The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Modaal throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Symbol was covering up waiting for the punch and Modaal finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Oman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dela Cruz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dela Cruz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oman on the ground.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Let's hope that Oman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
