The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin tries to clinch up
and Junttila counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Griffin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Junttila.
Griffin cracks the inside of Junttila's front leg.
Junttila changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Griffin tries to avoid it but Junttila manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Griffin to the ground. Griffin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Griffin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Griffin feints and then cracks Junttila's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Junttila down.
Junttila lands with a hook. Griffin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
