The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ricard shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. White manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ricard throws and elbow that misses. White uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ricard's guard. Nice move by White!

Smooth misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smooth.

and Jones counters with a nice right hand that sends Smooth toppling to the canvas! Smooth scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jones finish him?!

It looks like Benson Smooth has been cut.
Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jones lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Smooth head around and knocks him out cold! Jones hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Englund.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Englund has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Englund and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
