Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tong Van damm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bv Rasp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tong Van damm had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Bv Rasp has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Van damm tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rasp paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rasp throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Rasp takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Van damm closes the distance but Rasp moves to the side
and Rasp counters with a nice body shot.
Van damm swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rasp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Van damm looks to clinch
and Rasp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Van damm is rocked!
Van damm lands a leg kick that knocks Rasp off balance momentarily.
Van damm misses with an uppercut. Rasp saw that one coming.
Van damm takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Van damm looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A head kick lands from Rasp that sends Van damm to the canvas. Van damm tries to scramble back to his feet but Rasp brings him back down into side control.
Oh Van damm is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rasp is working to tighten is grip on Van damm's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Van damm has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rasp is really squeezing tight and eventually Van damm passes out! Rasp breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Chuin is looking for a triangle but Shellac pushes his legs off easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Chuin has his foot on Shellac's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shellac works his way back into a safe position though.

Chuin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Shellac is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chuin.
Chuin is trying to control Shellac's posture but Shellac avoids it.
Chuin tries to bench press Shellac off him but Shellac keeps the position.
Chuin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Shellac's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Shellac reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shellac taps out! nice BJJ there by Chuin!
