I think Whissell might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rose Of Sharon. George Whissell had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Keletor postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Keletor throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mendoza counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Keletor is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Keletor stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mendoza.
Mendoza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Keletor circles away quickly and effectively.
That kick from Keletor tenderised Mendoza's leg. Mendoza is trying to keep his angry face on.
Keletor looks to land a body kick but Mendoza moved away.
Keletor throws a leg kick which misses Mendoza's front leg but catches the back leg as Mendoza tries to avoid it.
Mendoza throws a leg kick but Keletor sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Mendoza pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mendoza rushes Keletor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Keletor.
Keletor cracks Mendoza with a nice body shot.
Keletor swings wildly with an uppercut but Mendoza uses good head movement to avoid it.
Keletor lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mendoza backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mendoza creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Keletor breaks the clinch.
Mendoza swings widly with a right hand
and Keletor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mendoza thinking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Keletor.

It looks like Hector Mendoza has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Keletor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Mendoza steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Keletor.

and Mendoza counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Keletor throws a big shot that misses.
Keletor throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mendoza counters with a solid body kick.
Keletor cracks Mendoza with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mendoza.
Mendoza throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mendoza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Keletor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mendoza moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Mendoza moves into the clinch successfully.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Keletor takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Keletor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Mendoza finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Keletor looks gassed!

Mendoza lands a big head kick that sends Keletor tumbling to the mat! Mendoza takes a step backwards and waves Keletor back to his feet - he wants the finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hector Mendoza will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Keletor tries a head kick but it misses.
Mendoza misses with an uppercut. Keletor saw that one coming.
Mendoza throws a shot from downtown. Keletor moves away and avoids it.
Hector Mendoza is winning the standup battle so far.
Keletor shoots for a double leg takedown but Mendoza sprawls well. He's pushed Keletor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Keletor tries for a takedown but Mendoza sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keletor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mendoza lands with a nice body punch.
Keletor is breathing heavily.
Keletor moves out of range of the body kick.
Mendoza tries to work over Keletor's front leg with a kick but Keletor checks it.

Mendoza lands a leg kick that knocks Keletor off balance momentarily.
That kick from Mendoza tenderised Keletor's leg. Keletor is trying to keep his angry face on.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mendoza.
Mendoza misses the shot to the body.
Mendoza throws a chopping leg kick but Keletor manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Mendoza lands a leg kick that knocks Keletor off balance momentarily.
Mendoza is looking to land body kicks.

Mendoza rushes Keletor and presses him up against the cage.
Mendoza unloads a knee to the mid-section. Keletor lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mendoza tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mendoza lands a hook that snaps the head of Keletor backwards.
Mendoza creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Keletor's defenses.

Mendoza escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mendoza looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mendoza throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mendoza catches Keletor with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Keletor is rocked!
Mendoza with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Keletor is still on wobbly legs! Can Mendoza finish him?
Mendoza scoring well with a low kick there.
Keletor takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Keletor seems to have recovered his senses.
Mendoza is looking to wear down Keletor with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Mendoza dips to his left and cracks Keletor with an uppercut!
Mendoza throws a chopping leg kick but Keletor manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Mendoza tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Keletor throws a leg kick
and Mendoza counters with a leg kick.
Mendoza tries to close the distance and clinch but Keletor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Keletor misses with a hook to the body
and Mendoza counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Mendoza looks at the referee who does nothing so Mendoza lands a crushing right that sends Keletor to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Mendoza!
