The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jhonson throws a left and a right that both miss

and Trent decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jhonson's guard.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Trent wants to control from the top but Jhonson keeps moving.
Trent throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jhonson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jhonson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Horrible takedown by Hosking or perhaps it was just good defense by Bombes which made him look bad.

Griffin wants to control the position but Harrison says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Harrison is taking a breather. Griffin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Griffin tries to kick Harrison off in order to stand up. Harrison Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Griffin tries to buck Harrison off but Harrison is having none of it.

Harrison has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
