Davis shoots for a takedown but Detwieler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up with Detwieler, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes Detwieler against the cage but Detwieler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Detwieler tries to bum rush Davis with a series of wild strikes but Davis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Davis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Detwieler swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.
Davis dives in and grabs Detwieler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Detwieler pushes down on Davis's head and hops out.
