The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maciek has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Boo finds it's way round the side to connect with Maciek's head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Boo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Boo stuffs the takedown attempt from Maciek. Maciek gets slowly back to his feet.
Maciek misses with a double jab
and Boo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Maciek clinches up with Boo and pushes him back against the cage.
Boo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Maciek has him pressed against the cage.

Maciek gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Maciek postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Boo to stand up.
Maciek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boo tries to avoid it but Maciek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boo to the ground. Boo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Boo feints a jab promting Maciek to slip. Boo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Maciek slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tomek Maciek.

Walker wants to clinch but Everett slips to the side
and Everett counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Everett pushes Walker up against the cage in a clinch.
Walker wants to get back to striking at distance but Everett won't allow it.
Everett drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Walker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Everett tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Walker just stands there and leans against the cage.

Everett ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Everett no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Walker thows a big elbow that misses.

Walker has gone for a leg lock! Everett slips out almost immediately though and dives into Walker's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Everett smiles and moves away.

Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Everett moves away.

Walker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Everett walks away with a smile on his face. Walker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pirate Everett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Walker.
Everett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Walker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
