The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray looks to score with a jab to the body but Muhammad is just out of range.
Muhammad tries to clinch but Gray moves out of range.
Gray throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Muhammad moves into range and clinches up with Gray.
Gray tries to pull guard but Muhammad holds him up against the cage and eventually Gray drops back down to his feet.

Muhammad has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gray uses from the top position.
Gray postures up in Muhammad's guard and throws a big left but Muhammad blocks it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Moony misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dhalsim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Moony avoids the head kick by Dhalsim.

Dhalsim throws a sloppy head kick and Moony moves out of range easily.
Dhalsim Dhalsim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dhalsim counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Moony is lucky that one didn't land flush.
