Ba throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

That was a close round but I would say that Fabio Ba will probably get the nod.

McCulloch's entrance music is Drowning Pool - Bodies. A fine choice. Mark Heyes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller fails to land the takedown.

Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bacon sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Miller looks to land a strike but Bacon avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Miller throws and elbow that misses. Bacon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Miller's guard. Nice move by Bacon!
Bacon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Miller is looking for a triangle here but Bacon uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The fighters circle momentarily. Bacon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Bacon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miller.

Bacon throws a nice looking combination but Miller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Miller tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bacon swivels and escapes.
Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bacon manages to avoid it.
Bacon throws a series of punches but Miller moves out of range.
Chris Bacon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bacon pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Miller checks a leg kick.
Miller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bacon defends it nicely.
Bacon catches Miller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A jab from Bacon does it's job there.
Miller looks to score with a jab to the body but Bacon is just out of range.

Danga de danga de dang - Bacon scores with a four punch combination!

Miller is rocked!
Miller misses with a wild body shot.
Bacon fails to land with a series of punches.
Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Bacon, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Bacon against the cage but Bacon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
David Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bacon slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bacon looks to land a combination but Miller avoids it well.
Miller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bacon but Bacon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Miller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bacon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Bacon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bacon moves out of range as Miller strikes.
Bacon connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Oh Miller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller dives in and grabs Bacon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bacon pushes down on Miller's head and hops out.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bacon lands with a big left! Miller is wobbled badly! Bacon comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Miller to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
