The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pippen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pippen tries to clinch but Stevenson is having none of it.
Stevenson shoots in for a double leg but Pippen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Stevenson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pippen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vasco is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Berg scores with a couple of nice shots.
Berg slips a nice elbow through Vasco's hands, connecting with Vasco's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Berg connects with a nice short shot to Vasco's temple.
Berg seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
