Oboev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kosarev was covering up waiting for the punch and Oboev finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kosarev looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Oboev is looking to advance position but Kosarev has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Arbuhmedov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Makhnov walks away with a smile on his face. Arbuhmedov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Makhnov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Arbuhmedov circles away quickly and effectively.
Dimitri Makhnov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Makhnov lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Makhnov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Makhnov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Arbuhmedov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Makhnov to the mat. Makhnov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
