The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Boladao counters with a stiff right hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shakesphere can do anything to dispel that myth.

Shakesphere pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Boladao back to the cage. Shakesphere follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Boladao will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

and Miyamoto counters with a left and a right that stings Couture.
Miyamoto connects with a good right hand that stumbles Couture. Couture circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Couture misses with a takedown attempt
and Miyamoto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Couture takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Couture takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Miyamoto counters with a stiff right hand.

Couture is rocked!
Takeshi Miyamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ranndy Couture.
Couture looks gassed!
Couture glances at the clock... BAM! Miyamoto nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Couture crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Couture is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
