Keyser Soze had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Keyser Soze has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soze displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wood.
Wood closes the distance and clinches up with Soze, looking for a takedown. Wood pushes Soze against the cage but Soze circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tripper looks to land a left hand but Knuckles moved out of range nicely.
Tripper uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Knuckles.
Knuckles misses with a hook.
Knuckles on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tripper. Tripper obviously looking to wear him down.
Tripper lands a nice leg kick that just misses Knuckles's sensitive parts.
Tripper missing with a left hand there. Knuckles was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Knuckles tries to sprawl but Tripper drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Tripper not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Knuckles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tripper.
Tripper throwing shots but Knuckles is blocking nicely.
Knuckles blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tripper.
Tripper wants to pass the guard but Knuckles is defending well.

Tripper is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
