Hoffmann is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Hoffmann tries to hold on but Camoes pushes him away.
Camoes thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Hoffmann is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Camoes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hoffmann to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hoffmann shrugs it off.

Camoes jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hoffmann manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Camoes misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hoffmann parries the strikes from Camoes easily there. Camoes is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hoffmann to escape.
Camoes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Camoes tries for a kimura but Hoffmann is defending well.
Camoes lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hoffmann tries to bench press Camoes off him but Camoes keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Hoffmann's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hoffmann is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Camoes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hoffmann, who protects the arm well.

Camoes is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hoffmann looks calm but he's in trouble here. Camoes gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hoffmann is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Camoes lets go of the hold and Hoffmann can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Smilehoven falls off balance throwing a combination
and Himmler counters with a nice low kick that buckles Smilehoven's knee momentarily.
Smilehoven looks gassed!
Nice shot lands for Himmler.

It looks like Jim Smilehoven has been cut.
Smilehoven takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Himmler works Smilehoven's body with a nice hook.

Himmler drops Smilehoven with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smilehoven looks back up at him and smiles so Himmler waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Smilehoven is still on wobbly legs! Can Himmler finish him?
Himmler stuns Smilehoven with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Smilehoven seems to have recovered his senses.

Himmler feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Smilehoven sprawling to the canvas! Smilehoven rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Himmler finish him?!

Himmler is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Smilehoven flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Smilehoven is out cold! Himmler holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Hui shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Silva cracks Hui with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Silva's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hui under the eye.

Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Hui on that attempt.

Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hui circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hui takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hui. That did some damage!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Brannigan might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bip has got the better of the exchanges.

Bip feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brannigan sprawling to the canvas! Brannigan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bip finish him?!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
