I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shinji Takahara was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aerts fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Takahara avoids it really well and circles away.
Takahara throws a leg kick which misses Aerts's front leg but catches the back leg as Aerts tries to avoid it.
Takahara connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Aerts checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Takahara throws a head kick but Aerts moves out of range.
Aerts tries to clinch but Takahara moves away
and Takahara counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Aerts has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
