The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runnings misses with a double jab.
Corso throws an off balance right hand

and Runnings counters with a crisp one two that drops Corso! Runnings thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Corso to his feet! Corso is in big trouble!
Runnings will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Corso throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Runnings scores with a counter punch that sends Corso to the canvas! Runnings smells blood - he's punishing Corso with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Corso has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Pontare wants to clinch but Smith slips to the side
and Smith counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pontare thinking.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Smith gets caught napping as Pontare dives in and scores a takedown. Smith manages to retain guard.
Smith can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pontare controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pontare manages to get himself to full guard.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Temujin Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roope Rautakoura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dropkick murphys - drink and fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radcliff doesn't manage to clinch there - Souza circles away.
Souza shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Radcliff counters with a nice kick to the body.
Radcliff is looking to land body kicks.
Radcliff feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Souza's calf.

Souza manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Radcliff on his heels. He'll look to pass Radcliff's guard now, I'm sure.
Radcliff will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Souza moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Radcliff has worked his arm free - good work by Radcliff!

Radcliff tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Souza easily slips into full mount!
Souza tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Radcliff is looking to improve his position but Souza isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Souza has hold of Radcliff's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Radcliff manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Radcliff is desperately trying to improve his position but Souza has a good base and remains in mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
