The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammad tries for a takedown but Nasri circles away easily
enabling Nasri to counter with a crisp jab.
Muhammad slips a jab and a cross from Nasri.
Muhammad throws a hook but Nasri blocks it.
Muhammad lands with a kick to the temple. Nasri shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Nasri throws a left and a right that both miss

and Muhammad counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nasri!
Nasri looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Nasri's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Nasri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muhammad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Muhammad is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Muhammad gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Muhammad gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Muhammad apologises and we restart here on the feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!

and Muhammad counters with a good low kick that Nasri was not able to check.
Muhammad gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Nasri counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ali Muhammad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nasri misses with a series of wild punches.
A combination from Nasri does no damage.

Nasri grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Muhammad takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Nasri cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
You get the feeling that Kuziemski really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Sutherland content just to control the position here.

Kuziemski tries to buck Sutherland off so he can stand up but Sutherland has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Kuziemski falls backwards, slamming Sutherland to the mat but Sutherland holds on tight! Kuziemski is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Good comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Oh Lynch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Good dips a shoulder and cracks Lynch with a mighty uppercut! Lynch falls back against the cage and Good unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lynch is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Good screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Marks has momentary wrist control but Zangiev slips an elbow through the middle.
Marks wants to sweep but no luck.
Zangiev in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zangiev postures up and lands a big shot to Marks's brow.
Zangiev throws and elbow that misses. Marks uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Zangiev's guard. Nice move by Marks!

Marks drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zangiev looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zangiev looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zangiev!

Marks is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Zangiev's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close second round but I would say that Karl Marks will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Marks has an Americana. Zangiev didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Marks is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Marks hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
