And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Igor Tatov!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Tatov shoots in and bounces Nunn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Tatov is looking to work some ground and pound but Nunn has wrist control.

Tatov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tatov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Nunn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tatov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nunn has managed to get both his arms back between Tatov's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tatov wants to sweep here but Nunn controlling him for the moment.
Nunn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Tatov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nunn is one step ahead there.
Nunn trying to control the position from guard on top but Tatov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tatov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nunn defends it easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tatov postures up in Nunn's guard and throws a big left but Nunn blocks it.
Nunn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tatov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Tatov thows a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tatov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tatov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Nunn wants to control but Tatov postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Igor Tatov dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Tatov has a takedown stuffed.
Nunn has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tatov finds it's way round the side to connect with Nunn's head.

It looks like Michael Nunn has been cut.
Nunn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tatov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Igor Tatov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tatov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tatov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nunn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tatov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nunn tries to avoid it but Tatov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nunn to the ground. Nunn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Michael Nunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Tatov.

and Tatov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nunn's guard.
Nunn keeping moving, preventing Tatov from controlling successfully.
Tatov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tatov advances to half guard.
Tatov is keen to just control but Nunn is a slippery customer.
Tatov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tatov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nunn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tatov softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Nunn is out cold! Tatov jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
