The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hernandez darts in and clinches Unitas up against the cage.
Hernandez lands an uppercut.

Hernandez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Unitas tried to score with a low kick but Hernandez checks it.
Hernandez throws a right and a left that Unitas avoids nicely.
Unitas gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hernandez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Unitas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Unitas throws a body punch but Hernandez moves out of range.
Hernandez checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Unitas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hernandez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Unitas is in Hernandez's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hale Hernandez will probably get the nod.
